Rohit Khurana is excited about the early evening time slot (7.30 pm) of his new Sony Entertainment Television show Dil Ki Nazar Se... Khoobsurat (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd).
Rohit stated, “This scheduling is good, as most people are home by then and women also get busy with cooking chores only after 8pm. Also, this time slot is relatively new for Sony as well, and this addition is bound to increase their prime time hours.”
But would it not have been better to slot it at a super prime time, between 8 PM to 10 PM? “We were offered the 9 pm slot as well, but that would have caused competition as our production house has Diya Aur Baati Hum airing at the 9 PM slot on Star Plus.”
Rohit further refused to comment on his character saying, “I will reveal about my character during the press conference which is scheduled for the 18th of this month (February 2013). All I can say right now is that it is a challenge to play this character as he is very restrained in his body language.”
Rohit further added that he took up this good boy role because of his fans’ request.
“I am fulfilling the wishes of my fans by playing a positive role here.”
Well, Tellychakkar.com has already reported about the Aamna Shariff and Raqesh Vashisth starrer, Hongey Judaa Na Hum (which airs presently at 9 PM) being placed under the scanner. The show we hear is surviving only because the channel does not have a new show in place to replace it.
