Sometime in November last year, we had reported about Akanksha Junejaentering Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Sunrise Productions). However, her entry never happened as she was busy shooting for Life OK’s Saubhagyavati Bhava.
But, this time down the line, the makers of the show approached this pretty lady for a different role to which the actress gave her nod.
As per a reliable source, Akanksha who was to earlier play Ahem’s (Mohammad Nazim) friend, will be seen enacting the role of Daksha, the neighbour of Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) who will be seen as a married woman who is pretty loud in both her appearance as well as approach.
Furthermore, we also hear that, in the upcoming episodes, she will be compete in household chores with Rashi (Rucha Hasabnis).
Akanksha has already begun shooting for the same and her entry will be aired sometime tomorrow (17 January 2013).
When we contacted Akanksha, she confirmed the same by saying, “I have always liked …Saathiya, but I also loved the character they gave me to play in it. It is something that I’ve never played before on TV.”
