Shashi Sumeet Mittal's Diya Aur Baati Hum, on Star Plus, is witnessing the night school sequence of Sandhya and Bhabo's (Neelu Vaghela) disapproval of her going in for further studies.

Our source informs us that DSP Rakesh Sharma (Syed Zafar Ali) who was there during the terrorism track will re-enter the show and help Sandhya cherish her dreams. He will further elevate her to the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) making her work under him.
When we contacted Syed Zafar, he confirmed the news by saying, “Yes, I am re-entering the show and my entry will telecast after 15 December.”
