The viewers will witness Mahadev and Parvati’s adventurous journey of being parents to mischievous yet charming lord Ganesha, the countdown to the much awaited entry of Ganesh started early in December with the birth of Vinayak, the story track will see an epic conclusion in a maha-episode of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev that will be aired on dec, 16th December.
A grand procession was held that included children dressed as Ganesha dancing to the tune of holy chants ‘shree ganesha’ in mumbai on 12th dec, 2012 to welcome the entry of Ganesha in the show. Mahadev aka Mohit along with Parvati aka Sonarika, also made the grand occasion even more joyous with a special appearance. Mohit playing the role of Mahadev said, “Entry of Sadhil Kapoor as Ganesha in the show will be a very interesting track, now mahadev will have a complete family”. When we asked Sonarika about her role as a mother she replied, “The role I’m playing is very challenging, here I’m getting a chance to play different roles, and yes Ganesha’s entry will be joyful. We even asked her has she done any research on her role. To this she replied “my mom used to tell me stories of Mahadev in childhood so I know what the story is; besides I’m a devotee (bhakat) of lord mahadev.
Nikhil creative head of mahadev serial said, “Unlike other mythological shows in Mahadev we are bringing connectivity in all stories, so that viewers will understand the stories in-depth and the graphics and the flavour we added to the show makes the viewers more glued to mahadev.”
Ajit thakur general manger life ok commenting on ganesha’s entry into the show said, “till now you saw Mahadev aka Mohit as husband of Paravti, or as neelkant but with Ganesha’s entry you will see Mahadev playing the role of a father, and I feel Paravati and Mahadev will have a greater challenge to play, as two kids Kartikay and Ganesh with different attitude this also replicates the current role of parenting. He also exclusively disclosed the news of Mahadev DVDs being available in the stores, fans of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev can now buy DVDs of the popular show. Soon calendars will also be made available he adds, we are happy with the response that we are getting from our viewers for Mahadev and they want us to make a special calendars and we are !”.
