Sanskaar cast - Aruna Irani and Jay Soni salute the spirit of the Cancer Survivors

Jay Soni and Aruna Irani
Colors show Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki is an epitome of family values, bonding and strong relationships… and so is the cast! The grandmother – grandchild duo – Ansu Ba aka Aruna Irani and Jaikishen aka Jay Soni of Sanskaar fame stepped out to meet the Cancer patients of V Care foundation in a bid to cheer them up.
Lighting up their faces, the artists spent some quality time with the patients and distributed gifts on the eve of Cancer Survivors' Day. The patients were excited to meet their favorite on-screen celebrities in person and get closer to them. Aruna Irani and Jay Soni spread their warmth and were seen spending time with the patients just like they were all a part of big family.
When asked, Aruna Irani said, " Today I realized how much God has given us, we as humans everything for granted. I couldn’t control my emotions after meeting several healing patients from babies to grandmothers, all trying to fight for survival. I feel honored to take part in such a noble cause and to come spend some time with these courageous cancer patients and survivors of all age groups. V Care Foundation is doing an excellent job by curing some of the most dangerous types of Cancer and spreading smiles across families around India. I would request all my fans to step up and make a difference by identifying and curing cancer instead of shying away from society."
When asked, Jay Soni said, "I'm generally very shy to go to hospitals but today I could not stop myself as it was for a noble cause. I'm extremely hurt to understand that so many people in our country across all age groups are suffering with various types of Cancer. This is the time to spread awareness and make a difference. I'd urge all my fans to go out there and help people around them to make a change that will make our society a safer place to live in. We have wonderful supporters like V Care Foundation who help in changing and saving several lives in our country."
Well done…folks!!!
