Gurmeet in the middle of a heath scare last Sunday

Gurmeet Choudhary had a health scare last Sunday.
According to a source, this talented actor, who was shooting for Punar Vivaah, suddenly developed pain on the left side of his chest. Since the heart is also located in that area, the production house (ShashiSumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd.) did not take a chance and immediately called for a doctor on the sets. Later, they took him to a hospital in Mira Road where the doctors did an ECG (electrocardiogram). And after a thorough check up, they declared that he was suffering from a severe muscle spasm in the upper back just below the shoulder. It was only that the pain was showing in the vicinity of his chest.
Most importantly they said that his heart was perfectly ok. But a scared Debina did not want to take any chances and took her loving husband to the Andheri-based Kokilaben hospital where he was again put through a round of tests including the Doppler test. Luckily, the prognosis was the same as that of the Mira Road hospital. The doctors have now asked Gurmeet to take bed rest and undergo physiotherapy . He is also on pain killers.
A source adds that since yesterday, Gurmeet was resting at home after undergoing the first session of physiotherapy. However, he might not be able to take a long bed rest as his Zee TV daily show has a episode bank issue. Hence, he might report back to work from Wednesday on a limited hour basis.
Producer Sumeet Mittal said that that they are giving the required amount of break to him to recuperate.
This bout of bad news was put out in the social media space in a wrong manner. It said that Guru was admitted in a hospital for heart ailment. A tired Gurmeet was forced to refute these false news through his twitter account by saying, “What is happening around? I am fine. Not hospitalized, leave alone any heart problem. It is just that a big muscle spasm on my back has been blown out of proportion. It is sad why people generate such news without getting into the root.
“I am sorry such rumors are unnecessarily causing panic. Don't worry at all and don't panic. Everybody gets a muscle spasm. Since I am in pain, I have been advised bed rest for 2-3 days after which I will be back on my feet.”
Get well soon Gurmeet!
