In Diya Aur Baati Hum As of date, apart from entertaining the viewers, Star Plus’ show “Diya Aur Baati Hum” has made a sincere attempt of taking up various social causes, with a message. This time too the plot will deal with the social cause of inter caste marriage involving Mohit and Emily.
As seen earlier, Mohit has denied about being the father of Emily’s unborn child. There were reports about Mohit undergoing DNA tests to prove the identity of the child’s father. But before that, there will be a huge twist coming up during the Holi sequence. Mohit will cunningly pass on his identity card given to him by the hospital authorities, to his friend in order to mislead them.
On the other hand Sandhya will insist on Mohit to marry Emily and accept the child. But Bhabho will prove to be a hurdle in her path, as she will put forward two conditions in front of Sandhya before the marriage can take place. One, either Sandhya identifies Emily as being an orphan Hindu or second Sandhya avails permission from Dadisa for the inter caste marriage.
Will Sandhya be able to stand up for the rights of Emily against her own family? It will indeed be an interesting viewing.
